We had all heard about how great his voice sounded, and being a musical the songs are the emphasis of the show. I am biased in saying that I enjoyed every scene that he was in. He didn't disappoint on one of my favourite songs – a Heart Full of Love. I was really moved by all the sad scenes as well – the scene of Eponine's death when they sing 'A Little Fall of Rain' and Marius grieves her death, when Jean Valjean sings 'Bring Him Home', and when Marius sings Empty Chairs at Empty Tables, all of which Nick does convincingly. As a summary of Nick's performance, his singing was just right for the show; it was only when singing with other cast members that his voice got drowned out, only because he has a relatively quiet voice.
